Long of about 6km, the Giens peninsula is linked to the continent by two uniques isthmes. It draws the most meridional part of French Riviera.
With over 3000 sun hours a year, it benefits from the influence of the sea to balance it's climate. A promenade allows to discover a magnificient pinewood, above which beautiful creeks might be found.
On the shore of the small Niels's port, visitors may sample seafood and fishes caught by local fishermen, among it's famous Provençale cookery. |
